Data Shop
Inspired by the artists’ Data Shop project, this workshop questioned the growing monetisation and surveillance of personal data. Participants discussed how platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Google use user data, mapped their own data and created a canned ‘data product’ using information from social‑media or fitness trackers.
